Apology Of Love
by DEBRA GAIL DAITZ

What would you do if I told you that I didn't love you any more,
That everything we talked about are things that aren't too sure,
That I did some heavy thinking of what we wanted to see.
But now my mind has made a change, this is not how I want it to be.

I know how sad you would feel if I was to say goodbye,
But I'm telling you I'm sorry that we can't see this eye to eye.
I'm not falling out of love with you because I met someone new,
It's just I lost all my feelings of ever loving you.

You have to understand, this is not easy for me to do,
But something keeps drawing me back from staying in love with you.
I know we talked about our future and how promising that did sound,
But I'm sorry this has to happen, I will no longer be around.
