Less Bitter, More Sweet
by J. A. H.

So far away, yet so close to my heart,
Each minute, each day, too long to be apart.
I dream of your beauty, your humour, your laugh.
My summer I missed, replaced by bitter cold,
but one thing remains, on you I am sold.
Now I may still be freezing, but I have learned to cheat,
thoughts of you keep me warm,
Less bitter, more sweet.
