It was three in the afternoon
by Enrique Alberto Hurtado Minotta

When my eyes met with yours
it was three in the afternoon
the sun rollicked in your face
                 and the wind caressed you

It was three in the afternoon
when your eyes crossed with mine
It was three in the afternoon
when you stared at me and my soul melted itself
before the premonition of the unavoidable.

It was three in the afternoon
when I became lost in the smile of your sweet look
and it was three in the afternoon
                 when I found my destiny.
