by Sweet  Angel

She walks away,
tears streaking her face,
she can taste their saltiness,

Her heart has been pierced,
the emptiness is scraping at her soul,
as his words echo in her head.

His face is imprinted in her mind,
his decietful eyes were dreary,
the pain in them is burning,

Her hands tremble as she quietly sobs,
she lies on her bed, as the warm afternoon sun glows,
the lonliness takes over.
