Unlike This Storm
by   Kimmy

Stormy weather was predicted for this beautiful beach,
many people, thus, stayed home out of the storms reach.

Yet, I continued on, not listening to the warnings,
Those that I was aware of, so early this morning.

Thunder claps rolled by, while large waves ran up the shore,
I walked alone in silence, I was alone once more.

Unlike this storm, I couldn't predict, what was in store for our love,
I had no warning siren, no message from above.

I now sit and wonder, if you do as I,
Sit with your own stormy thoughts, and watch this storm roll by.
