First love, Past and Present
by Authentic  Heart

To have loved you deeper,
the apex of my heart would have burst,
       creating a scarlet abyss.

To have loved you sweeter,
the essence of my soul would have dispersed,
leaving only a frail and hollow skeleton.

To have loved you longer,
my greatest weakness would have bared itself- nude,
revealing that I could not exist solely,
          without you.

To have you love me...
I will easily sacrifice my heart,
     my soul... and, all truth.

Because a lifetime of bliss
   will combine all these three,
     ...and you!
