Carrying Oceans
by Sharon Washburn Flynn

You carry oceans through silence:
blue sky washing sultry Mondays
with a soft symphony of notes.

And, you are the world... the Atlas
of my soul. Your arms are wide enough
to circle the whole universe.
my heart sails upon glassy seas
washed ashore by my deep desire.

I am swept through the silence
upon frothy waves of need
barrelling recklessly over
the newly created falls of forever love.
