All Time Beauty
by Sheila Anne Haskins

My all time beauty, my all time love
It pains me to remember what we had
Yet, still I see the shepherd
As I make my way back home
The last day I saw you
So lost and all alone

My all time beauty, my all time love
It pains me to remember what we had
Yet, still I see that shepherd
Giving you the gladsome eye
My all time beauty
?Tis him you loved- not I

My all time beauty, my all time love
It pains me to remember what we had
The shepherd loves you too, you say
Cupid?s dart played tricks that day
My all time beauty
You made me feel so bad

My all time beauty, my all time love
It pains me to remember what we had
The shepherd kissed you tenderly
Asked you, "Will you marry me?"
My all time beauty
You made my heart so sad

Beauty?s gone, the shepherd?s song
Still echoes in the vale
Yet, still I see that shepherd
As I make my way back home
His heart like mine is dying
We both are now alone

My all time beauty, my all time love
It pains me to remember what we had
Yet, me and that old shepherd
As we made our way back home
Knew the last day that we saw you
We would always be alone
