Nostalgic night
by Sara  Ingardia

The moon timidly lets us see its splendor,
emerging among the clouds filled with rain.
I leave my refuge, aimless and devoid of any defense
feeling my lost soul is in search of a new life,
trapped in the happiest memories of our broken bond.

Sweet rain wets my melancholy face
It hides my tears and silently you kidnap my saddest thoughts.
Along the tortuous path of Love
You teach me to dance on the wings of hope,
You give to me the strength to start over,
You abandon my fragility
You escape the nostalgia of memories.

You, the essence of my life,
Silently on this nostalgic night
You slide into my being
And you make the light shine again in my heart.
