Adam and Eve
by   JuStAgIrL

When I feel so cold,
And my heart's worth is of nothing
You are my warm blanket,
And act as though my sun.

When I feel so dark,
And things come around to soon.
You are there to shine your light,
And act as though my moon.

When I feel so lonely,
And my problems become so loud.
You seem to cushion the harshness,
And act as though my cloud.

When my head is jumbled,
And my goals seem, oh so far.
You lift me up and guide me,
And act as though my star.

To have you, I am so lucky,
And I often ask God, "why?"
(this was his reply)
You, my Eve, are his universe,
And he, your only sky...
