SHE CROSSED THE LINE
by William Thomas Kinsey

SHE FOUND A WAY TO CROSS THE LINE
FROM DREAM TO DREAM COME TRUE
I DON'T KNOW HOW SHE DID IT
I DON'T EVEN HAVE A CLUE

THE ELEMENTS SHE NEEDED
CAME TOGETHER IN A NIGHT
IT'S TRUE, EVERY WORD I SAY
SHE PULLED IT OFF ALL RIGHT

A DREAM IS SORT OF WISHING
OF HOPING, WANT AND SUCH
I FELT THAT I WAS DREAMING THEN
I FELT HER HAND, AND THEN HER TOUCH

THERE WAS NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT
SHE CROSSED OVER, ALL THE WAY
THERE SHE WAS BEFORE MY EYES
AND HERE SHE'S GOING TO STAY

STILL, I DON'T KNOW HOW SHE DID IT
I DON'T EVEN HAVE A CLUE
SHE FOUND THE WAY TO CROSS THE LINE
AND MAKE MY DREAMS COME TRUE
