liquid sunshine spills down
upon silken shoulders to reflect
it's light in star-kiss'd eyes

laughter falls from lips,
rose petal soft, to banish
clouds gathered in my mind

her gentle touch would
cause the rust to 
crumble from my bones

alabaster skin can scarce contain
the radiance of her soul
