Angelic Love
by   Kirsten

A deep lamenting purple
sprawls out across the sky
Filling the heart, the soul,
the mind with melancholy sighs.

Cherubs soar like little dreams
through everlasting love.
Their wings flutter like whispers,
soft, to carry them above.

The stars appear as holes
on the darkened curtain of night.
Through holes in the curtain glimmers
bits of heaven's divine white light.

Pinkish hues define eternity,
dizzying brightness tickles the land.
My dreams are made of angelic love,
come along... I offer you my hand.

-This poem is dedicated to My Jared one true love.
