Yesterday's Tomorrow
by Mary L McCoy

The time has come for yesterday's tomorrow
	Today's winding road of sorrow

Like a diamond from coal,

Time has stopped; disarming my soul.

Smelling roses, lingering seasons fled,

	Shining light on paths ahead.

Leaving only fallen petals,
	Drifting past swamp covered meadows.
