Phantom
by   SweetGirl

Don't steal my vision- as I try to look past you...
or say a soft word- as I try not to hear
Don't nudge my hand- as I slowly walk by you...
don't spin your web- that pulls me near.

Stay out of my dreams- let my dreams be mine...
Don't creep through my brain at night
Stop evading my thoughts- that take over my soul...
Stop winning this emotional fight.

It's too hard to breathe- when you disguise as the wind...
and leave me to gasp for air
When I see the Masked Phantom- there is no escape...
This game you control- is not fair.

Alice is lost- in your Wonderland...
as you gulp down- her last cup of tea
And sneeks a peek- under that mask you wear...
only to see reflections of me.

Let your grip go- Mr. Phantom- let go...
let the rabbits run free, as before
Just place your mask- on the shelf on the wall...
as you mysteriously walk out my door.
