We are No More
by Carlo  Telemaque

Broadcast to the world
I am no longer eligible
Still ignorant of my crimes

Why would a kind heart
Be so cruel, if not in hiding
To react so crudely to nothing

The birds and the cats fade away
Into their own paradise, still no smile
No longer do you see me, do I see you?

Child of my imagination
You were never there
I made you all up, maybe

And now I am as I was
You are better than before
And friends we are no more
