Mystery of Mysteries
by Nigel Saint Aubyn Daring

Mystery of mysteries, love- so unfair
To fill a heart but leave it in misery
Oh my dear where,
where have you gone?
Why have you left me?
Such a mystery, such misery
From the fondness of a high
To the numbness of a low
For 'why', I don?t know
Somehow, I must let you go.

Like a flowered bird you came on rays of sun
But you flew and took your fun.
Of explanation- I have none
I only know it?s done.
I?m left with misery in mystery
You left with history.
