YOU ARE ME
by MARGARET  SITAWA

I was sitting down on the bed and you were standing
Far enough so our eyes were locking
You had your brown jumper on and were smiling
Both of us at each other were staring

And I remember what I was thinking
'You are me'
I didn?t know what that was meaning
It was something I was feeling...

'Till now I can do no explaining
What it was, Was satisfying
Full of hope and liberating
'You are me'

I know not where we?re going
In your arms, it?s me you?re holding
Whatever is mine, is your belonging
I see myself as at you I?m gazing

It?s only you I?m loving
You are me...
