That night, oh that memorable night.
The sky so bright!
The sun had gone to bed,
The clouds were passing by.
The moon, amidst the countless twinkling stars,
Smiles down on the earth.
The trees were still,
Their leaves were dropped.
All I could hear was
The sonorous voice of the nightingale,
Sitting on the branch of an almond tree.
I remember vividly, it was singing a song of love.
I passed by and I saw a beautiful figure,
All a work of nature.
Then it came to my mind, the song of the Nightingale,
That my love was sitting by.
I walked by, you saw me...
You took that bold step which has turned my life around.
You spoke and I concurred.
Thank God I found you, My Love.
You are everything in the world to me.
Indeed, you are an angel,
A gift from God to me.
