Lovitation
Fear balances Love,
like gravity
that keeps us from flying off
into an endless depth of stars.
But sometimes
she's just so darn beautiful,
you think you may escape
the heavy weight of fear;
you're not afraid
of being lost.
She pulls harder than fear,
with no effort at all,
and you rise,
weightless,
fearless,
free
.
Then she blinks,
and you're home again.
