Smiling At Night
Looking into the starry night,
Filled with a glow so bright,
The days seem to go so fast,
Thinking of the time that's past
A smile comes which seems so rare,
I picture your face and can only stare,
Your beautiful eyes shine and gleam,
You're like an angel, straight from a dream
This feeling seems unknown to me,
And it's being with you that sets me free,
Your image spreads its wings and starts to fly,
It begins to dim and look so shy,
Leaving me with memories to keep,
Along with that smile... I fall asleep.
