Magic Place
In my mind when I think about you
I am drawn to the pond
by the edge of the forest, so peaceful
holding on to one another
no words are spoken, none are needed
as we look into each other's eyes
all has been said, our love so strong
that the wildlife around us senses it
and sings our song
as the foliage sends out the sweet smell
of our life together.
I often visit this magic place
in my mind, when we're apart
and any sadness I feel
because I am not with you
fades away till you return.
Together or apart
I will always hold you
close to my heart
and hear that wonderful song
as I feel the sweet love
that we share for one another
for ever and always.
