I thought it was a dream
there are nights
so dreamingly clear
they don't seem real...
but I know they were
they are deep,
I can't recall
yet, I know they were-
their memories stand tall
there were dreams
that seemed so real
hoping they were,
those feelings I want to feel
there were times,
so long ago,
things I can't remember
or possibly just don't know
there are moments
to get so caught up in
that after they're over
I hope to dream of them again
