The way your neck smelled when I held you tight,
Or the warmth of your arms all through the night,
Your silly laugh that seemed so loud,
That stood out in any crowd,
The way you smiled as you stared in my eyes,
As if to see sunshine through cloudy skies,
I never thought I could miss your cologne...
I never thought I could feel so alone.
The way you’d grab me and pull me near,
And whisper sweet everythings in my ear,
The way you stood right by my side,
No matter what, you carried my Pride.
The way you’d talk and talk for hours,
Or how you’d surprise me with beautiful flowers.
I never thought about today...
I never thought I could feel this way.

I never saw what I really had.
