I Wish

I wish you would abide,
for me to tell you how I feel inside.
I wish I could tell you how I feel,
but I’m afraid you think me a heel.

I don’t want to part,
I only want your heart.
To have, to hold,
I wish for someone to console.

Whenever you cry,
I feel so bad inside.
So please grant my wish,
as I linger in this abyss.
