Another Lonely Day

By: James Earl Engell

Another lonely day
Has slowly passed me by
I can't help but think of her
And suddenly begin to cry.
I remember the moments that we shared
How are love ran strong.
Not seeing the world around us
Not knowing where we went wrong.
I felt the power in her touch
The love within her kiss.
The joy when she's around me
It's a feeling that I miss.
I'd gladly be condemned to hell
Give up all that's mine.
For just a single moment,
To see her one last time.
For every moment that we're apart
A part of me begins to die.
I can't stand another lonely day
Slowly passing by,
Without her.
