Empty-Hearted
Everyone tells me to wait,
someday I won't be alone.
I've got so much to offer.
A heart, love, and soul.
Why is it I love the people
who never love me back?
There's nothing really wrong with me,
what else could there be?
I'm warm, kind, and caring.
I'm intelligent and sweet.
I don't ask for much,
just a person who will love me.
Is it really that hard
to find true love?
All of my life I've been
searching for it,
but I always come up
