I remember standing there,
kissing her, and dancing in time square.
I remember all the people clapping,
as we danced in each others arms.
I remember how a great cheer,
from the crowd arose as the ball slowly dropped.
And I remember a great cheer,
came from me as we embraced.
I remember how much we were in love,
as the sky light-up above.
I remember the confetti in her hair,
like we live and loved, without a care.
I remember watching the clouds roll by,
That special night of her and I.
I remember listening to the world's cry,
as 1997 quickly rolled by.
I remember the last few seconds, before the end,
of the dance of me, and my special friend.
