Saying Goodbye
by Destiny Elizabeth Leamon

No more laughs, no more fun.
The pain and the grief have just begun.
All we can do is sit and wait,
To find out our wonderful, or horrible fate.

The days you have, I know, are few.
If only I had time, to get to know you.
But I know soon enough there will be,
A day when I'll see you, and you'll embrace me.

But, I guess for now there's only one thing to do.
That's to hold onto the truth, and try not to miss you.
For I know that I will see you someday,
And then there will be nothing left to say.

All tears will be gone and there'll be smiles on our face,
Because we'll be with you in that Heavenly Place.
So I'll try not to cry and I'll be strong for you,
Because I know that's what you'd want me to do.
