Visions
by   Victoria

I had long known the sky
the wind that blows each flower
the clouds that pass the moon
through midnight's restless hour

Then you came into my life
to bring forth visions new
and I know a different sky
awash with star's glittering residue

Of leaves and flowers' intimacy
and scents Iíll not forget
You are indeed my truest friend
in this, my lifeís last duet
