Another Chance
by Stephanie Therese Wilson

I finally decided to realize
That I never moved on
It took me a while to accept
The feelings still aren't gone

It's been so long since we talked
And I miss hearing your voice
I haven't seen you in a while
That's something that's not by choice

You thought the grass was greener
And better on the other side
But when you realized the truth
All you could do was hide

I wonder if you were missing me
The way I was missing you
We experienced so much together
Do you realize what we've gone through?

So here we go again
On this whirlwind of love
This time it better work
Come push or come shove

I never thought I'd get
Another chance with you
But now that it's here
I'm not sure what to do

This time I want everything
To work out for the best
But for that to happen
We have to ignore the rest
