Next Time
by Stephanie Therese Wilson

I remember the times you said,
"Oh baby, I'm so in-love."
Next time don't say something
you can't get out of.

I remember the nights
when you held me near.
Next time don't touch me
if you're not gonna be here.

I remember the way you talked
and all the sweet things you'd say.
Next time just keep your mouth shut
if you're not gonna stay.

I remember the day you said
we weren't meant to be.
Next time don't say good-bye
if you're still gonna want me.
