No page goes unturned,
no lesson goes unlearned.
The values of life
go to teach you...
that nothing is for sure.

Shaken heads,
 broken promises,
  doors closed,
   backs turned,
    life freezes,
the point of existence never learned.

Questions are thrown at us,
and we dodge them while we can,
parent's teachings are lost thoughts,
the worlds cruelness is nothing more than a sham.

Something inside us,
screams to know more,
one more fatal look
and I'm walking out the door.

Shame on you if you hurt me once,
Shame on me if you hurt me twice;
questions of existence boggles the mind
and in the end someone will pay the price.

We use hate for our own selfish purposes,
when all we want is to be loved,
We put those aside that need us the most,
and to those not enough... we can't bare to let go.
