This Unfamiliar Feeling
by D.  B

This unfamiliar feeling scares me when I'm with you,
I never thought I could ever question this important value
Saving myself for the man I choose to wed was planned,
But now I'm faced with an unfamiliar thought that I can't understand
Your sweet kiss and soft touch makes me a puddle on the floor,
The way you respect and honour me makes me want you even more.

How do I fight it when I'm not sure why I do,
I'm scared to regret giving my all to you.
You would be my first, but I'm not yours,
I'm scared to become another one of your whores.
These feelings within I never use to worry about,
You're not like past guys, you never need to doubt.

These feelings are so intense I can't keep up the fight,
I'm reassured when you look in my eyes, that I think I just might.
You touch me and I'm captured in your strong warm embrace
Kisses that tingle my whole body and relax my tensed face.
It's here and now that I will never be the same
and shall always remember
Then you hold me in your arms and say it's okay,
I will wait for you forever!!
