Why God? Why did you take Melissa?
by Mindie Sue Moffitt

Little one; you came, you're gone
Wanting to know always and
forever... if I was wrong.
You could still be alive today
Only if I; if I wouldn't have
come to the world that September day.
Wishing I could have known you
Wishing you could come back
just for a day....I wish it was true.
I know it wasn't me
Who made death come... come and take you away....
I will always wonder if you I could see?
I ask God everyday, in every way
Why did you take my sister, she was only two weeks old,
why did you take her on that cold November day?
I wish I knew her, I wish I could have seen her pretty face
I wish for just one day, only one day
she could be in my arms, she could be in my embrace.

Why God?
Why did you take Melissa?
It wasn't her time
