Wish You Where Here
by Lenore Rodriguez Ramirez

I sit and wait in a dark room,
lonely with nothing by my side.
I can feel every cold breath
taken in silence.
Fearing that I will never get the,
chance to hold you in my arms,
to feel your body, and taste the
sweetness of your lips as I kiss you.
My heart aches for the warmth of your love.
I get down and pray every day begging the lord,
to set me free from this pain that
is killing me slowly inside.
If there was ever a love so great I have found it.
