Forever You and Me
by Danny Eugene Olson

As I'm traveling this lonesome highway
feeling the pain of not being with you,
I grasp the mere images of you in my arms
standing in the early dawn.
The warmth of your body next to mine
being together for all time.
I vow to be the man of your dreams
to be faithful and true, that's how I'll be.
For God gave you to me, so forever you and me.
