If You Love Me
by Susan Rae Nott

You say you're in love with me
There’s no love in me, do you see?
Something's missing from my heart
It was removed from the very start

Sometimes I run, sometimes I hide
Sometimes I feel devastated inside
So much hell have I been through
It's left my heart black and blue

I have little or no trust in mankind
All up until now have been so unkind
My heart and soul is black with sin
Life is a game I just can't win

From birth my life had been cursed
Tormented and twisted so perverse
I have many secrets you don't know
If you really love me, leave me and go
