Violence
by Brittany Renee Hardan

When we lost twelve innocent students we all ray,
but when we really all just want to
forget get that day. How could two young men
who seemed so innocent go so bad?
The teasing, the hate, will it stop? for we don't
want to feel so sad. Treat people the way
you would like to be treated. We shouldn't
hate the two assassins, for they couldn't
hold it in any longer. What doesn't kill us will
only make us stronger. We should honor the many
people who tried to survive, for what they
always thought was abhorent they'd experience no more.
They thought of us that frightful day,
but I assure you everything will be okay.
The many children who won't go to
college or have a career, their last minutes
of life was full of fear. Something so precious
can be taken away with or without warning,
so I tell you love and cherish the children
and elders each and every morning.
