So Much Confused
by Sunday B. Fakus

Emotions of love, desires of life
Of what is and never will be
Uncertainty and instability inside
Of the present and my future being:
Torment me every day and night
In the weakness of my mind

To choose or leave all behind
Unknown what tomorrow will bring
Unreal and incomplete my feelings
My expectations about love and life
To learn to live one day at a time
A solid way to eternal life

To defer or gratify all my needs
A choice still difficult to make
To give or receive what I feel
Gullible feelings get hold of me
To say or ignore all I see...
Candid words wonít let me sleep

To love or hate day and night
From me is nothing more revealed
To live or die before the time
Pathetic, hidden fear inside of me
Unsure what the future will bring
Thatís why Iím so much confused
