Don't Disguise Your Love...
by Beth  M.

My eyes
see through
your every disguise.

You hide
(Oh, baby, why?)
from this love we both know is bursting inside.
Oh yes, I see it.
You can barely contain it.
I know what I see and you know it too,
I know that you love me, as much I do you.

But a moment,
a second,
a year
or a few...
is how long I have waited
hoping for you...
to simply declare
your disguised love.

It's a long time to wait
that much is true.
but love lives forever
and if that's how long it takes
forever is what I will wait.
