Blue Bays
by James  Walters

Blue bays webbed
In spider light,
Lapping at the sky.
Crinkled clouds
And crescent moon
Shimmer in my mind.

Red suns cling
To fragile dawns,
Bronzing misty air.
Heather winds
On haunted plains
Whisper in my ear.

White doves waltz
To music mute,
Bewitched by your charm.
Flowered dreams,
Your magic smile,
Nestle in my heart.
