I Would Be
by James  Walters

I would be as gallant
And brave as any knight;
No man would be as valiant
Or worthy in your sight.
Your honor would I protect,
Your trust I would embrace;
Your love I'd hold as valued
As any of God's grace.
And I would be devoted
For all eternity,
If I would be as noble
As heaven asks of me.
