Nobody Else
by Sabrina Laurise Wright

You stood and started for the door,
my tears were already hitting the floor.
You turned back to say one last good bye,
I know you hated seeing me cry.
I laid my head in my pillow and buried it deep,
knowing now I would fall asleep.
I heard you drive away in the rain,
as I watched my heart ached with pain.
Now I lay in bed thinking of you,
wondering if you're thinking of me too.
What's happening to us,
whats going on?
Everytime we think it's getting better,
it keeps dragging on.
I know we still love each other
it can be seen in our eyes,
and when we're together no one tells lies.
The clouds are parting now
the stars are shinning bright,
I know I'll love you more, even after tonight.
I know I got worked up,
you just got me scared,
by some of the things you said to me
I guess, I wasn't pepared.
I know some of the time
you were scared too,
I just want you to know
I love no one but you.
