I sit alone
by sean daniel duffell

I sit alone cold and numb
wondering why you,re there and I'm here
some may say I am dumb
for letting you go.

I sit alone wondering
if you are in his arms
and if you are telling
him I don't mean as much.

I sit alone looking for a sign from you
that all I say
and all that I do
is getting through.

I sit alone knowing you will say, I" love you",
but you use that word with all.
I need to know sincerely
that the word you use for me is true.
