Lingering Dream
I went along my journey
On a cool, fresh winter's day;
I thought about my one true love,
I dreamed of yesterday.
It was a very special dream,
That lingered in my heart...
A dream of peace and happiness
We both felt from the start.
Our hearts met unexpectedly,
It was nothing we had planned,
Yet, suddenly we were brisked away
To some sweet, sacred land.
Together, in that special place,
Two lost souls found each other.
So many dreams we shared that night,
And more... we'll soon discover.
