All i can think about

By: Shelly Leeann King

As I sit in my bedroom with my hands around my throat.
Wishing everything around me was in a dark, black hole.
Looking at myself as my face turns blue.
All I can think about is- you and you and you.

Who makes a choice to kill herself when the world seems too mean?
She can't go on with life or so, to her, it seems.
I no longer want to be around the people who I love.
All I can think about is what's waiting up above.

All I can think about is how I’m letting go
And how much I love my family, I really hope they know.
My eyes are getting heavy, my body feels so weak
Everything inside is numb, that's the way it has to be.

I’m glad that mom’s not here, right now,
To watch me slowly die.
But I still wish I could say to her,
“I love you... and good-bye.
