I still look at our picture when I'm feeling down
Well, years have passed since that horrid day you died
and my life was changed.
Friends still call to find out how I am. I guess I'm ok.
I have realized you're not coming back.
Now, I have memories of how things used to be
and how love can disappear... like it did between you and me.
I still look at our picture when I'm feeling down,
it still makes me smile seeing your hand in mine.
Even though it's just a trip down memory lane,
I still have our picture on the dresser
next to the bed we once shared.
I stopped by your grave just the other day
it should be 20 years together for us
but its been 18 years since you passed away.
In my heart, you're still here beside me,
helping me in life's choices,
and moving me on... day by day.

I see you have took it upon yourself to help me again
