Holy Communion

By: Trevor Valentine Morris

Then the rain changed to snow
Down the avenue...
Says the man,
"I'll take you to a place I know."
It's a plan
He'll feed you caviar
And rose wine
Eating all the time
While he's making love to you.
The winter storms
Can
Go
To
Hell

So raise your glass
And drink his health
And sip the rose wine.
You'll wake up
In the morning
But instead of
Feeling fine-
The storm is over,
You're won over,
No resistance inside

The lover talks of freedom
And he's gone;
Just a sinner,
He takes communion
Further on.
It's a game
That he plays
With his rose wine.
Magic charms to his
Cold caviar;
It's a lover's collusion,
Holy communion
Sip the wine
And he's gone...
