You Trembled

I said "hello",
you smiled.
The room brightened.
I held your hand,
you trembled,
and stole my heart.

Gently I held you.
The palm of my hand
on your cheek.
You kissed my lips.
Your eyes are so blue,
You touched my soul.

Shy glances, soft sighs
tender touches.
A completeness found,
in the arms of love....
and blue eyes.

Our parting at hand,
I memorized you.....
The sun in your hair...
the scent of your skin...
the taste of your lips....
Such blue eyes.....

The world fell from beneith my feet
as i walked away...
And the sun dimmed
in your blue eyes.....

I miss you already.
