ILLUSIONS OF LOVE
by THIEF OF HEARTS

  YOU WERE LIKE A MAGICIAN
THE WAY YOU MADE ME FEEL
 WITH YOUR ILLUSIONS OF LOVE
 THAT ALWAYS SEEMED SO REAL.

   YOU SAID I WAS SPECIAL
WHEN YOU LOOKED IN MY EYES
    TOLD ME YOU LOVED ME
WHEN YOU KNEW IT WAS A LIE.

YOU HELD ME IN YOUR ARMS
LIKE WE WERE MEANT TO BE
  WHEN YOU KNEW ALL ALONG
   YOU WOULD SET ME FREE.

   THEN, JUST LIKE MAGIC
  WITHOUT SMOKE OR MIRRORS
    YOU SAID I LOVE YOU
    AND THEN DISAPPEARED.

IF YOU PLAN TO COME BACK
     FOR A SECOND SHOW
   DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME
     I'VE LET YOU GO.
